Can a power station run a microwave?
Usually yes. A microwave needs about 1,100 W while it runs, so the station's continuous AC output has to be at least that. Capacity is rarely the problem: 3 minutes of reheating uses about 65 Wh.

Find your microwave's real watts
The big number on the box (for example "1,000 W") is usually cooking power. The station has to supply the input power, which is higher; it's on the label inside the door or on the back, in watts or amps (amps × 120 = watts). Check the label on the back or inside the door. If the input is above the station's rating, the station shuts off its AC output; it won't damage the microwave.
Running other things at the same time
Add everything that's on together. A fridge compressor starting while the microwave runs can push a smaller station over its limit. Check a full list in Size a station, or work out hours in the runtime calculator. More appliances: runtime chart.
Method and limits
"Yes" means the station's continuous AC rating is at least the microwave's watts; no start-up surge is applied. Minutes = capacity × usable share × 85% conversion ÷ (watts + idle draw) × 60. Full method: Methods.
