How long does a power station take to charge?
Pick a station and how you'll charge it: a wall outlet, its fast mode, a car's 12 V socket or solar panels. Times use each maker's own published figures where they exist.

Every station, every way to charge
Same starting and target charge as above. Solar uses your panel watts and your state's worst month.
| Station | Capacity, Wh | Wall, standard | Wall, fastest | Car 12 V | Solar, worst month |

A time marked "est." is worked out from input watts because the maker gives no time for that mode. Charging usually slows over the last few percent.
Charging specs from the makers
| Station | Capacity, Wh | Wall input | Fast mode | Car input | Solar limit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| EcoFlow RIVER 3 PlusAC input 380 W, 0–100% in 60 min. Car input 220 W at 11–55 V, 0–100% in 3.3 hr. | 286 | 380 Wfull in 1 h | none listed | 220 Wfull in 3.3 h | 220 W |
| EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus1,500 W AC input, 0–100% in 56 minutes. Charging from a car's 12 V socket isn't listed. EcoFlow quotes 1.3 hours with its 800 W Alternator Charger, sold separately and wired to the car battery.. | 1,024 | 1,500 Wfull in 56 min | none listed | not listed | 1,000 W |
| Anker SOLIX C1000 Gen 2AC charging 1,200 W max; UltraFast 1,600 W, 100% in 49 minutes, enabled in the Anker app. Car charging input not listed (XT60i input 11–28 V ⎓ 8.2 A, 29–60 V ⎓ 14.5 A). | 1,024 | 1,200 W | UltraFast (app): 1,600 W, full in 49 min | not listed | 600 W |
| Jackery Explorer 1000 v2AC charging time 1.58 hours; Emergency Charge 1 hour. AC input listed as 15 A max, no watts. DC input 12–16 V ⎓ 8 A; car adapter charging time 12 hours. | 1,070 | not listedfull in 1.58 h | Emergency Charge (app): full in 1 h | 96 Wfull in 12 h | 400 W |
| BLUETTI AC180Standard mode about 1,000 W, 1.7 hours (1.7–2.2); Turbo about 1,440 W, 1.3 hours (1.3–1.8). Car input 12/24 V from a cigarette lighter port; watts not listed. | 1,152 | 1,000 Wfull in 1.7 h | Turbo mode (app): 1,440 W, full in 1.3 h | not listed | 500 W |
| Jackery Explorer 2000 v2AC charging time 1.75 hours; Emergency Charge 1.3 hours. AC input listed as 15 A max, no watts. DC input 11–16 V ⎓ 8 A; 12 V car adapter charging time 24 hours. | 2,042 | not listedfull in 1.75 h | Emergency Charge (app): full in 1.3 h | 96 Wfull in 24 h | 400 W |
| BLUETTI Elite 200 V2AC charging input 1,800 W max (charging + bypass); full charge 1.4 hours. Car input 96 W (12 V) / 192 W (24 V). | 2,073.6 | 1,800 Wfull in 1.4 h | none listed | 96 W | 1,000 W |
| Anker SOLIX F3800 PlusAC input 120 V, 15 A max; AC input power (charging) 1,800 W max. Car charging input not listed. | 3,840 | 1,800 W | none listed | not listed | 3,200 W |
| EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3AC charging input 100–240 V, 15 A; at a 120 V outlet that is 1,800 W. EcoFlow's 0–80% in 50 minutes claim isn't tied to a 120 V outlet, so no time is used. Car charging input 12 V ⎓ 8 A max (96 W). | 4,096 | 1,800 W | none listed | 96 W | 2,600 W |
Fast modes are switched on in the maker's app and can be harder on the battery; check the manual. A wall outlet on a 15 A circuit shared with other loads may trip at the highest input settings.
How the time is worked out
When a maker publishes a full-charge time for a mode, we use it, scaled by the share you're filling: filling 20% to 80% takes 60% of the full time. When it publishes only input watts, hours = capacity × share to fill ÷ (input watts × 0.74). That 0.74 is the median of what makers' own figures imply when they publish both watts and a time for the same mode: capacity ÷ hours ÷ watts, six pairs from five stations, ranging 0.62 to 0.82. Car estimates use 0.89, the median of the 12 V pairs (Jackery's two published car times plus RIVER 3 Plus's).
Solar: watt-hours into the battery per day = the smaller of panel watts and the station's solar limit × (1 − losses) × peak sun hours × 0.89 for charging losses inside the station. Sun hours are PVWatts v8 for the largest city in your state, worst month. Full sources are on Methods and sources.
